PALESTRA SOBRE "USA" PARA 8ª SÉRIE

Os estudantes da 8ª série tiveram uma palestra sobre Os Estados Unidos no dia 28/11 para conhecerem aspectos culturais. O palestrante foi Cesar D’Agord, que mora nos Estados Unidos desde 1987. Ele trabalha em um centro regional do “United States Department of Education” (USDOE). Este centro, um de muitos projetos financiados pelo USDOE, e’ administrado pela “University of Oregon”, em Eugene, Oregon, onde Cesar mora desde 2005. O objetivo principal deste Centro e’ o de prover consultoria às secretarias estaduais de educação na implementação de diversos aspectos da legislação Americana no âmbito da educação, no que se refere às escolas públicas de primeiro e segundo “grau”. Cesar e’ consultor deste centro, e seus clientes são as secretarias de educação de diversos estados Americanos situados na costa oeste e nos territórios Americanos do pacífico que recebem fundos educacionais do USDOE. Durante sua visita na Escola Nossa Senhora do Brasil, Cesar mostrou diversas fotografias de suas viagens de trabalho e outras de sua vida pessoal em suas atividades de lazer. O intuito era tão somente mostrar diversos aspectos da cultura Americana e de alguns estados/territórios americanos com geografia e culturas mais diferenciadas. E também mostrar alguns aspectos de como Cesar vive como consultor e nas suas horas de lazer. Como consultor, Cesar mostrou suas visitas aos estados do Alaska e Hawaii, e aos territórios Americanos de “American Samoa, Republic of the Marshall Islands”, e “Guam”. Sobre seus momentos de lazer, mostrou fotos de suas viagens de moto pelo estado do Oregon e outros passeios que fez neste estado que e’ muito rico em belezas naturais que incluem os vulcões da serra dos “Cascades”, o deserto de altitude, e a costa do pacifico. Foi um momento muito interessante e os educandos demonstraram ter gostado bastante.

Storyline:
